I am so pleased to be able to put into writing my fullest appreciation and delight with the high quality of improvement works carried out on our home by Keith Male & Son Builders.   I first used Keith’s firm to completely refurbish our very dated bathroom. We were so thrilled with the results, and the fact that the works were done with the minimum of disruption and finished ON TIME, that I asked Keith to quote us for more renovation work to the ground floor.

Keith secured this with the best quote for price and duration. The programme of works was very extensive and involved the removal of load bearing walls and the complete renovation of the ground floor of our home.  For a short period we were unable to live in the house and had to leave everything in the hands of Keith and his team.

Not only did they complete the works to the very highest standard but they ensured throughout that our property was kept secured and the grounds were cleaned up each and every day at close of work.  Such was their diligence and hard work that they became well-known, friendly faces to our close neighbours and ensured that any inconveniences to our neighbours were kept to the absolute minimum. Throughout the whole programme of works Keith stayed in touch with us and ensured that we were kept abreast with each phase as it unfolded and he completed the whole programme on time.

The old lean-to garage was demolished and it became an integrated part of the new ground floor area.  The living room was extended together with the kitchen and the removal of the load bearing dividing wall enabled this extension.  We now have French windows spanning the whole of the rear of the house, all now covered by a lovely single sloping roof. Not only has this taken 50 years off the outward appearance of the house but it has means our house is fully weather-proofed and so much warmer too.  We have a home that we are so proud of.  So, to say I am delighted is an under-statement and I am so thankful that we found such a reliable firm.  I have no hesitation at all in recommending them to you.

I would have no hesitation in recommending KBMale Builders as I have recently had a wall built by them and the quality and workmanship was second to none. Keith and his son Ross conducted themselves in a professional manner. They were polite and had a good sense of humour whilst working well. They were punctual and didn't waste time in setting about their tasks.

Thanks to Keith and his team we now have full use of a fantastic extension to our kitchen and what was our box sized bedroom,you would never recognize the inside of our house from how it was before! We had a few quotes from other builders, but Keith’s experience and understanding of the adjustments to our home gave us the confidence to leave the whole project from start to finish in his hands. The team worked so hard, at the same time clearly attempting to limit our stress levels by keeping our existing habitable areas in a relatively normal state throughout the 3 months it took to complete the whole renovation. Impressively, before the team moved on to a different area, they would tidy up and somehow managed to never leave behind any unnecessary disorganized mess. Keith and his team followed challenging plans on a difficult site to a high standard.

Keith built our house from start to finish in 7 months. The work included,  foundations, external/internal brickwork,  roof, plastics, fitting windows/doors.

Internal stud walls, boarding,  plastering and woodwork. Keith also sub contracted electricians,  plumbers and carpenters to complete the build.

All aspects of work keith organised and sourced the materials to make the job run as smoothly as possible and to achieve budget and time scale. He also dealt with building inspectors, local council and final air testing certificate.

To conclude, Male Builders are a very reliable company to use , we were very pleased with the completion of our property, Keith and his team made the whole self build experience easy and we are glad to have had the pleasure to work with them.

Male Builders have successfully completed many projects for me over the years.

I first met Keith when I needed a builder to extend my property from a 3-bedroom house with a single garage to a four-bedroom house with a double garage.

The work was undertaken in two stages, firstly the left side of the property was extended to give me a large living room and adjoining study on the ground floor, with two bedrooms converted into one on the second floor.

I was delighted with the results, which gave me the confidence in Keith and his team to undertake the next part of the project.

Phase2 involved extending the kitchen, creating a utility room and building a double garage on the ground floor. Then on the second floor creating 2 more bedrooms and a large family bathroom. At every stage of the project Male Builders advised on the best way to implement the architects plans and made sure the work was completed on schedule.

After the work on the house was complete I commissioned Male Builders to create front and back garden walls as well as laying the patio with millstone flags.

Over the years Male Builders have worked on various projects for family, my friends and myself.

I highly recommend their care and attention along with the experience and trade skills they bring to a project.
